Builders & Developers
How to get your project endorsed by the Workforce Housing Coalition
How to Receive WHC Endorsement for Your Project
- Builders and developers are encouraged to review our endorsement criteria and to approach the Workforce Housing Coalition for endorsement of their projects.
- Contact Marguerite Bader (595-9242, foba@sbcglobal.net), Jerry Bunin (546-0418, jbunin@hbacc.org), or Jerry Rioux (543-5970, jerry@slochtf.org) for more information or to make an appointment to meet with our Steering Committee for a presentation or an endorsement.
- The Workforce Housing Coalition is willing to review projects in their early stages in order to discuss what is needed to meet our criteria for endorsement.
- To officially endorse a project, we will need to see copies of the application submitted to the government agency and a written statement indicating the number of affordable units to be built, the price at which they will be rented or sold, and how long they will be price-restricted.
- Builders and developers seeking the Workforce Housing Coalition endorsement must submit the request for endorsement with accompanying materials at least one month before the project goes before a city, County, or other public hearing so that we will have time to review the request and offer support if the endorsement is granted.
