How to get your project endorsed by the Workforce Housing Coalition

How to Receive WHC Endorsement for Your Project

  1. Builders and developers are encouraged to review our endorsement criteria and to approach the Workforce Housing Coalition for endorsement of their projects.
  1. Contact Marguerite Bader (595-9242, foba@sbcglobal.net), Jerry Bunin (546-0418, jbunin@hbacc.org), or Jerry Rioux (543-5970, jerry@slochtf.org)  for more information or to make an appointment to meet with our Steering Committee for a presentation or an endorsement.
  1. The Workforce Housing Coalition is willing to review projects in their early stages in order to discuss what is needed to meet our criteria for endorsement.
  1. To officially endorse a project, we will need to see copies of the application submitted to the government agency and a written statement indicating the number of affordable units to be built, the price at which they will be rented or sold, and how long they will be price-restricted.
  1. Builders and developers seeking the Workforce Housing Coalition endorsement must submit the request for endorsement with accompanying materials at least one month before the project goes before a city, County, or other public hearing so that we will have time to review the request and offer support if the endorsement is granted.
